What is an enigma box? Well, I'll explain. An enigma box is a plastic black box with a hole at the top and a tube at the bottom. In a class demonstration I observed that the dark plastic box held a lot of water, but once it hit the max all the water came out. At 300 ml the box sounded full but at 400 ml it only started dripping. At 500ml the water flowed out of the box.
Inside the box i think there is a gauge that holds water until the maximum amount is reached after the max. Amount the gauge cant hold any more so all the water comes out. I think this because at 400 ml it only started leaking. Also, I think if you went over the max the water flow would be heavier. Last, think the gauge is in the tube.
To figure out the enigma box we had to use our science skills. These skill are inferring, predicting, classifying, observation, and making models. To figure out how the enigma box worked we had to use observation by watching the demonstration, then we had to use inferring, we knew that once the box was full the water flowed out. Also, we used predicting by saying it could have a gauge in the box.
